Wedding Secrets Every Couple Should Know

1)     Plan, Plan, Plan – Then Adjust the Plan: It’s important to set a timeline to keep everyone on track. The more people involved, the more important this is. From your wedding photographer, to hair and makeup artists, to florists, to caterers, to venue staff, etc….they all need to be working on the same timeline in order for the event to come together. As with any big event, there will be snags and delays along the way. The most effective professionals those who can adapt and adjust to keep your special event stress-free.

2)     Choose Your Team Carefully: Wedding coordinators, venue staff, wedding photographers, DJs, florists, and makeup artists all work together on your wedding day to make the event run smoothly. Before you hire any of them, have a conversation and get to know these people. You’ll rely on this group throughout the day to keep things running smoothly, and you’ll spend a lot of time with them. Make sure your personalities gel and you are comfortable with your team.

3)     Remember What It’s All About: In the end, a wedding is about celebrating two people who want to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s about family, love, and tradition (or making new traditions). If the centerpiece isn’t exactly what you thought it would be, or the weather throws you a curve ball, it’s not the end of the world. Your team will fix what can be fixed and make the best of the rest. Be present, enjoy your family and friends, look into your spouse’s eyes and know that you are on your way to your happily ever after.
